Privacy Policy

Our core promise

Lounge is built on one privacy principle: we never ask for your bank passwords, we never connect to your financial accounts, and we never access your financial data. You enter information yourself, and the app does its work right on your device.

No account, no login

Lounge does not have user accounts. There is no sign-up, no password, and no email required to use the app. You can open Lounge and use every core feature immediately. We do not ask for your name (you may optionally enter a first name so the app can greet you, and it stays on your device).

What stays on your device

Card and benefit data you enter. When you add cards, choose benefits, or enter approximate point balances, that information is stored only on your device using your phone's local storage. We do not operate servers that receive or store this data, and it is never transmitted to us.

Your settings and preferences. Things like the benefits you have marked as used, the values you assign to perks, and your travel preferences all live on the device. If you create a backup (a code or a file), that backup is generated on your device and you control where it goes.

Subscriptions (optional)

Lounge is free to use. Two optional paid subscriptions — Navigator and First Class — unlock extra features. If you choose to subscribe, payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment method, card number, or billing address.

To manage your subscription status across your devices, Lounge uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. When you subscribe, RevenueCat receives your App Store purchase record and an anonymous app identifier so the app knows you are a paid subscriber. This information is tied to a random identifier, not to your name, email, or financial accounts, and it is used only to deliver the features you paid for. RevenueCat's privacy practices are described at revenuecat.com/privacy.

In Apple's privacy terms, this is the only data associated with the app: Purchases (purchase history), used solely for app functionality, not linked to your identity, and never used for tracking.

Notifications (paid feature, on-device)

If you subscribe to Navigator, Lounge can remind you before a benefit expires. These reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device — they are created and delivered by your phone itself. Lounge does not use a push server, does not send a device token to any third party, and the reminders are not linked to your identity. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone's settings.

What Lounge never collects

How your information is used

The data you enter is used solely on your device to power Lounge's features: tracking benefits, planning travel, calculating what a card is worth to you, and (for Navigator subscribers) scheduling reminders. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. There is no advertising in the app.

Your control

Because your data lives on your device, you are always in control. To remove everything, you can reset the app from within Settings, or simply delete Lounge from your device. There is no account to close. To move your data to a new device, you can create a backup code or file in Settings and restore it on the other device — entirely under your control.

Third-party services

Apple App Store. Subscription billing is handled by Apple. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple processes payment data.

RevenueCat. Used only to confirm subscription status, as described above. It receives a purchase record and an anonymous identifier, never your personal or financial details.

Lounge does not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or push-notification vendors.

Children's privacy

Lounge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. Because the app collects no personal data and requires no account, it does not build profiles of any user.

Changes to this policy

If Lounge adds features that change how data is handled (for example, optional cloud sync or accounts), we will update this policy and note the change in the app before it takes effect. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
