The short version

Lounge is a free app for tracking credit-card benefits and planning reward travel. You never create an account or share any passwords. Everything you enter stays on your device. Optional paid subscriptions (Lounge Plus) are managed entirely through Apple or Google — we never handle your payment information.

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Lounge ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

These terms apply to all versions of Lounge, including the iOS app available on the Apple App Store and the Android app available on Google Play.

2. What Lounge is

Lounge is a personal finance information tool that helps credit-card holders track benefits, plan reward travel, and understand the value of their points and miles. Lounge provides informational guidance only.

3. No account or registration required

Lounge does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or set a password. You can open and use every core feature immediately.

You may optionally enter a first name and a home airport in the Settings tab for a more personalized experience. This information is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to any server.

If you subscribe to Lounge Plus (see Section 4), the subscription is managed through your Apple ID or Google Play account — not through Lounge. We do not have access to your billing details.

4. Lounge Plus subscriptions

Lounge offers two optional auto-renewing subscription tiers under the "Lounge Plus" group. Both are available on a monthly or annual basis:

Free trial: A 7-day free trial is available on paid tiers for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged within 24 hours prior to renewal. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID Settings or Google Play account settings. The free Explorer features of Lounge remain free regardless of subscription status.

Prices are in USD and may vary by region as determined by the App Store or Google Play. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with advance notice.

5. Your data

All information you enter in Lounge — card balances, benefit usage, point balances, and settings — is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of this information on external servers.

A backup and restore feature is available in Settings. If you choose to create a backup code, that code contains your app data in encrypted form. Keep it private: anyone with the code can restore your portfolio. The code is not transmitted to or stored by Lounge.

The only data that flows outside your device is subscription status, which is validated through Apple or Google via RevenueCat solely to unlock paid features. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You agree to use Lounge only for its intended purpose — personal, non-commercial tracking of your own credit-card benefits and points. You agree not to:

Lounge and all of its content, design, and code are owned by The Great Northern Group LLC. Card names, program names, logos, and benefit details are trademarks of their respective issuers and are shown for identification and educational purposes only.

Nothing in these terms grants you any rights in the Lounge brand, logo, or name.

8. Disclaimers

Lounge is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

Lounge is an informational tool, not financial advice. Always verify benefit and program details directly with your card issuer or loyalty program before making financial decisions.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Great Northern Group LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Lounge, including but not limited to missed benefits, incorrect point valuations, or reliance on information displayed in the App.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the App or the App Store / Google Play update notes.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Lounge shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in New York.
